Requirements / Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Database Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Configuration Specialist.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database development (SQL, PL/SQL).
• Test automation experience.
• Proficiency with ETL tools, ideally Talend, and experience supporting data migration projects.
• Proven hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX and automation using Bash/Python.
• Practical experience with GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, normalization/de-normalization, and database security best practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring or guiding technical teams.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE/B.Tech) or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science.

Nice to have: .

• Knowledge of Golang/Go is a plus.
• Knowledge of Drools or other business rules engines is a plus.

Shift Timings: 

  1 PM to 10PM IST

Roles & Responsibilities:

Database Engineering

• Design, implement, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL workflows to support business operations.
• Support database migrations and build efficient data models that ensure integrity, scalability, and performance.

Automation & Configuration

• Develop and maintain continuous integration pipelines using GitLab, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Automate configuration management and deployment tasks in Linux-based environments.
• Automate testing for client configuration for delivery.
• Leverage scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) to automate routine and validation tasks across dev/test infrastructure.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with cross-functional team and stakeholders to deliver robust data-driven solutions.
• Manually test in a cross-functional team, with a view to developing automated tests.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of build, release, and automation processes.
• Troubleshoot complex system and database issues, ensuring security, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.
