About the Team: 

The AI Agents team is a key part of our broader Platform Engineering division, focused on creating innovative solutions that empower our customers to design and deploy intelligent agents tailored to automate their unique tasks and workflows. Our platform provides the capabilities for users to seamlessly define and configure AI agents that can operate autonomously, driving efficiency and optimizing processes across industries. 

At the heart of this cutting-edge product, our team is motivated by the need to continuously innovate, adapt to latest AI Advancements, and collaborate across multiple disciplines to deliver powerful, user-centric solutions. We work at the intersection of AI research, engineering, and product development, ensuring that our platform not only meets current demands but also anticipates future trends in automation and intelligent decision-making.

Qualifications

To be successful: 

• Strong background in distributed systems design and development.  
• Experience working in a DevOps environment.  
• Experience with Generative AI & Prompt Engineering
• Ability to execute a project based on our priorities, context, risks and desired outcomes 
• Software development experience on ServiceNow platform is a huge plus 

To be successful in this role, an ideal candidate has:

• 9+ years of software industry experience
• Experience in critical thinking and innovation aimed at AI integrations into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.  
• Experience in building new products that use AI/ML 
• Significant experience designing and implementing highly interactive and high-volume applications
• Expertise in backend technologies
  • Java, Python, Junit, REST, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS and associated frameworks
  • Solid JavaScript experience with React, AngularJS, Cycle.js, Vue, or other frontend frameworks
  • JVM performance testing, optimization and garbage collection
  • relational databases, SQL and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate and/or frontend technologies
• • Competent in aspects of design, usability, cross-browser compatibility and accessibility
  • Exposure to modern reusable theming practices such in sass, css-in-js and styled components
  • Experience in test driven development with Jest, TestCafe, Cyprus, Mocha, or Selenium
• Experience in designed, developed, and maintained microservices-based applications on Kubernetes, improving scalability, reliability, and deployment speed
• Experience in functional programming, stateless architectures, ADTs is a plus
• Experience with caching systems like Redis, MemCached is a plus
• Advanced understanding of software design, development, testing, and problem-solving.  
• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
