Job Description:

   

In the Finance and Corporate Strategy team we ensure that the business’s capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. This is how we work to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. By gathering and analysing financial data we can influence decisions within the business, drive initiatives, and help ensure alignment with our wider objectives

Job Family Definition:

Defines, develops, evaluates and oversees the implementation of pricing models and strategies designed to optimize revenue, market share, brand positioning and long-term profits. Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development, Finance and other key stakeholders to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements. Prioritizes and delivers on opportunities to monetize products offered initially at little to no cost, or to implement upsell opportunities as products are repositioned in the marketplace. Monitors the ongoing business environment to ensure competitive pricing/market position and directs the development and analysis of pricing models and projections. Oversees the implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.

Management Level Definition:

Applies specialized subject matter knowledge to solve moderately complex issues within established guidelines. Typically supervises lower-level supervisors and/or highly-skilled non-exempt individual contributors in single functional area. Responsible for the supervision of activities and resources needed to support the day-to-day efforts of the department and to achieve the business plan. Provides general supervision to lower level supervisors and direct supervision to highly-skilled non-exempt employees. Provides direction and expertise to departmental teams and participates in cross-department initiatives. Acts as a point of escalation for subordinate employees as well as supervisors. Does not require day-to-day supervision, and has the ability to handle most unique situations. May need advice in order to make decision on complex business issues.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree, or technical/ advanced university degree, or equivalent experience. A master's degree is desired.
  • Typically, 7 to 10 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in applying the basic foundation of a function's principles, theories, and concepts to assignments of limited scope.
  • Mastery in English and local language.
  • Effective communication is crucial for a pricing supervisor. This includes clear and concise communication of pricing strategies, goals, and expectations.
  • Ability to manage and guide a team. This includes providing direction, setting priorities, and assigning tasks.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Ability to provide feedback to help the team grow and develop pricing skills.
