What you’ll do:

·       Lead and contribute to technical research, proof-of-concepts, and architectural spikes that evaluate new technologies and approaches.

·       Design and evolve framework architectures, setting technical direction and contributing hands-on to framework development.

·       Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance on architecture decisions, coding standards, and technical best practices.

·       Apply deep knowledge of the full software development lifecycle to drive quality, predictability, and delivery confidence across implementation and BAU phases.

·       Evaluate and design AI/ML integration patterns for the product workflows — including document intelligence, process automation, and anomaly detection in reinsurance data

·       Provide technical and security architecture guidance to development teams during implementation and delivery

·       Lead and contribute to RFP responses and presales technical engagements — covering architecture, integration and security sections.

·       Design end-to-end integration solutions across REST API, file-based, event-based architecture.

·       Actively leverage AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) in your day-to-day architecture and delivery work — from design documentation and code review to root cause analysis and RFP drafting.

What to Have for this position.

Must have Skills

·       Overall, 7–12 years’ experience, and minimum 3-4 years in System/Solution Architect roles

·       Must Have experience in HDL/LDL Design, REST API design.

·       Strong understanding and experience in Java, Spring Batch, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Boot and Microservices

·       Experience in implementing and designing REST API, Caching (Ehcache).

·       Good understanding of MS SQL queries and principles.

·       Good understanding of cloud concepts (Azure Preferred).

• Good understanding of application security — OWASP, API security, data encryption, access control.

·       Demonstrated hands-on use of AI coding and productivity tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) in architecture, design, or development work — this is a practitioner role, not just a designer of AI systems.

·       Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated output — understanding its limitations, validating its impact and accuracy, and applying sound judgment before using results in production designs.

·       Good to have: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elastic search (EFK), Workflow engines, Docker, Azure, Couchbase DB, Node.js, React.js, NoSQL, LLM API integration (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude), RAG architecture and vector databases (e.g. Pinecone, Azure AI Search), agentic AI frameworks (e.g. LangChain, AutoGen), prompt engineering for enterprise workflows.

·       Design AI-powered integration patterns such as automated bordereau extraction (PDF/Excel to structured data), AI-assisted GL reconciliation, and natural language querying of reinsurance data

·       Collaborate with product and delivery teams to identify where AI can enhance product workflows without compromising data integrity, auditability, or system performance
