System Engineer I

Labcorp is seeking a System Engineer I, to join our team in Bengaluru city, Karnataka state.

Work Schedule- 2nd Shift (India)

Job Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server OS environments (2016, 2019, 2022)
  Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues across hardware, OS, and network layers
• Design and implement PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration changes in accordance with best practices
• Monitor server performance, availability, and security compliance
  Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related services
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
  Collaborate with other IT teams on infrastructure projects and service improvements

• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to support critical systems and respond to incidents
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Engineering

Additional Job Standards

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Windows Server OS environments
  Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Solid understanding of server hardware, virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), and networking fundamentals
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and WSUS
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SCOM)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
