Job Description

Data Visualization & Reporting:Develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, and business value.Present data insights through compelling visual storytelling and dashboard design that supports decision-making.Apply best practices in UI/UX, color theory, and dashboard layout for optimal user engagement.Ability to implement self-serve capabilities in dashboards.Drag and drop interfaceIntuitive dashboardsAsk dataData Preparation & Modelling:Perform data wrangling, cleaning, blending, and transformation to prepare datasets for analysis and visualization.Develop and manage semantic layers, calculated fields, parameters, LOD expressions, and aggregates within Tableau.Build reusable data models using Tableau Prep or equivalent ETL tools to support self-service analytics.Collaborate with data engineers and architects to source, model, and transform raw data from multiple systems (databases, APIs, files, etc.) into consumable formats.Data Engineering & Integration:Write optimized SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures for data extraction, joins, and filtering.Connect and integrate data from cloud data warehouses such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or other RDBMS/NoSQL platforms.Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across visualization layers through validation and reconciliation processes.Support data lineage and documentation efforts to maintain traceability and transparency of metrics and KPIs.Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into technical solutions.Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineering, analytics, and business SMEs to ensure alignment and delivery.Communicate analytical findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Continuous Improvement:Maintain and enhance existing BI solutions for performance and scalability.Support initiatives for analytics modernization, self-service BI adoption, and data literacy across business units.Stay current on Tableau feature releases, emerging BI tools, and industry best practices.________________________________________Required Skills & Qualifications:8+ years of hands-on experience in Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server/Cloud development.Proficient in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL) for querying and transforming large datasets.Strong experience with data preparation tools such as Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or equivalent ETL/ELT frameworks.Working knowledge of AWS Redshift or similar data warehousing technologies.Demonstrated experience with data modeling, including star/snowflake schema, normalization, and denormalization.Strong understanding of data visualization principles, KPIs, and dashboard performance tuning.Agile mindset with ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to evolving business needs.Exposure to Python Data Engineering Familiarity with Data ingestion and extractionAbility to process and transform data Demonstrate database handling and data warehousing expertise
