JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Experience in developing data applications on cloud preferably GCP Experience in architecting enterprise-wide data handling huge data volume.

• Ability to interface the cloud services with Airflow,Rest API etc.

• Work closely with admin/architect teams during any issues.

• An understanding of the tools and process flow to ensure focused incident response and policy compliance.

• Analyze the day-to-day loads/issues and take necessary actions during issues or escalations.

• Excellent understanding on different file formats (avro, parquet) and JSON

• Should have strong communication skills: both verbal & written

• Must be able to think pro-actively, excellent follow through and attention to detail.

• Passion for new technologies & Ideas

• Should have excellent Analytics & Reporting skills.

QUALIFICATION

• Requires a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Data Engineering or similar combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background and minimum of 3-4 years of experience in GCP services.

• Over all experience of 2-5 years in IT.

• Experience in agile development processes.

• Ability to create Data Pipelines using GCP.

EXPERIENCE

• 2-5 years of GCP , Data engineering, Cloud experience

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Hands-on experience on SNOWFLAKE,GCP Services.

• Experience in creating Data pipelines using Google Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow.

• Expertise with Big Query, Google Cloud Storage,Cloud Composer, Kubernetes, Cloud Logging, Bitbucket, Dataflow or Apache Airflow.

• Having experience in writing/handling complex SQL queries.

• Having knowledge on Docker/QUAY,SHELL scripting is an added advantage.

• Having good understanding of technologies like Hadoop,Kafka, Hbase, Sqoop ,scala etc is an added advantage.

• Understanding all complex job and data flows in the project, document and simulate complex issues.

• Able to analyze, research and solve technical and unique problems
