What you'll do

As Platform Lead, you'll be delivering and owning the platform operational stability and performance, including maintaining applications, systems, utilities and tools. Through understanding the technical direction and emerging technologies and trends, we’ll look to you to manage the technical architecture and design of your platform and how it aligns to domain and enterprise roadmaps and targets.

Alongside this, you’ll champion and plan the delivery of business value and an enhanced customer experience as you lead teams to understand and focus on customer outcomes.

You’ll also be:

• Owning and creating the platform technical road map with the right architecture, solutions and commercial value
• Managing the tensions inherent in working through implementing competing customer priorities with business leaders and business product owners
• Providing expertise to ensure optimal business solutions that meet our customers’ needs and the overall strategy and roadmap
• Owning the remediation of technical issues to simplify and improve the platform’s architecture and technology

The skills you'll need

We're looking for a strong leader and communicator with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to your peers and senior management, with good collaboration and stakeholder management skills. You'll lead design, build, and transformation of a globally scalable Supply Chain Finance platform. Act as technology owner partnering with global business.

On top of this, you’ll have:

• Expereince of at least 15 years working into Banking Industry and 10 years into Supply chain / Trade Finance
• An expert understanding of Microservices, APIs, Event Driven systems
• A strong understanding of Cloud Native architecture, preferably AWS
• Exposure of working with AI, Data Platforms and Analytics
• Operational, risk management, financial management, collaboration and negotiation experience and expertise
