Technical Recruiter
Summary
We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Attraction team in Bengaluru. You will own end-to-end recruiting for a portfolio of technical roles across India (for example Software Engineering, DevOps/SRE, Cloud, Data/ML, and Technical Product roles).You will be a hands-on, full-cycle recruiter who is data-driven, candidate-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment.
Job Description
Full-Cycle Recruiting
Own end-to-end hiring for a set of technical roles in India, from intake through offer acceptance.
Run structured intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify requirements, success profiles, sourcing strategy, and timelines.
Manage job postings, screening, interview scheduling, debriefs, and offer processes in line with internal SLAs and local compliance.
Keep candidates and hiring managers informed at each stage, ensuring clear, timely communication.
Sourcing & Talent Pipelining
Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, internal databases, referrals, events, and online communities.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring roles (for example Software Engineers, DevOps, Data/ML, QA, and Technical PMs) in Bengaluru and other India locations.
Conduct market mapping and provide hiring managers and TA leadership with insights on talent availability and competitors.
Candidate & Stakeholder Experience
Deliver a high-quality candidate experience from first contact through handover to onboarding.
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on the market, assessment approach, interview structure, and offer decisions.
Facilitate structured debriefs and calibration discussions to support fair, consistent, and inclusive hiring decisions.
Partner with HRBPs, Compensation, and Global Mobility (where relevant) to craft competitive and compliant offers.
Process, Data & Continuous Improvement
Keep accurate, up-to-date data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
Track and interpret key recruiting metrics (for example time-to-fill, pipeline quality, source effectiveness, candidate experience scores, and DEI representation) and use insights to refine strategies.
Contribute to process improvements, tooling adoption, and TA projects (such as interview training, employer branding campaigns, referral drives, events, or assessments).
Ensure compliance with internal policies, data privacy standards, and India employment regulations throughout the hiring process.
Collaboration & Projects
Partner with global TA colleagues across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas to share best practices and support cross-region initiatives as needed.
Support campus and early-talent hiring, events, and branding initiatives in India (for example hiring events, hackathons, meetups, and university programs) as required.

What We’re Looking For
4–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical roles in the India market (in-house experience preferred; agency or mixed background welcome).
Demonstrated success hiring for several of the following: Java/Python/Full-Stack engineers, Cloud/DevOps/SRE, Data/ML, QA/Automation, Platform/Infrastructure, and Technical Product/Program roles.
Proven experience in direct sourcing and building pipelines in a competitive market, especially in Bengaluru.
Experience using a modern ATS (for example Workday or Lever) and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter; comfortable working with reports and dashboards.
Strong ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders (hiring managers, directors, and leaders) while managing multiple requisitions at once.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to represent Guidewire professionally to candidates and external partners.
Strong planning, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Genuine interest in candidate experience, inclusion, and fair hiring practices.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
Experience recruiting for global SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software companies.
Exposure to hiring across multiple India locations or other APAC markets.
Experience supporting employer branding or talent marketing initiatives (for example content, social media campaigns, and events).
Familiarity with structured interviewing and modern technical assessment methods.
