Role Description

Hybrid Cloud is looking for a Technology Operations Specialist within Midrange Technology Operations and Security. You will support day-to-day service delivery and operational risk management for the Midrange platform, working closely with Information Security and Technology teams to ensure controls are operating effectively and evidence is available for audits and regulatory requests. The role focuses on monitoring, reporting, issue management, and coordination across stakeholders and suppliers to maintain a stable, secure, and compliant production environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Support operational risk activities by identifying, assessing, documenting, and tracking risks and issues; assist with root-cause analysis and remediation follow-up
• Participate in project and change forums to assess operational readiness, surface risks/dependencies, and ensure required controls, runbooks, and support processes are in place
• Coordinate audit, regulatory, and third-party assessment requests by gathering evidence, maintaining documentation repositories, tracking actions, and supporting timely, high-quality responses
• Monitor and report on Information Security and Technology compliance activities (e.g., control health, exceptions, overdue actions), escalating concerns and driving closure with owners
• Support Vendor Risk Management (VRM) activities for key suppliers by coordinating reviews, tracking contractual/control obligations, maintaining registers, and ensuring ongoing monitoring tasks are completed to bank expectations

Your skills and experience

• Experience in Technology Operations / Service Delivery (midrange and/or infrastructure platforms preferred), including incident, problem, change, and service reporting
• Working knowledge of IT service management and delivery practices (e.g., ITIL) and familiarity with Agile ways of working
• Ability to work with stakeholders across Technology and Information Security, communicating clearly and escalating effectively when risks/issues arise
• Strong documentation skills with experience producing and maintaining evidence, procedures/runbooks, registers, and operational metrics
• Proficiency with tooling for reporting and analysis (e.g., Excel) and the ability to spot trends, gaps, and recurring themes from operational data
• Experience supporting audits, regulatory requests, risk assessments, and/or VRM processes is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset (automation/simplification where possible)
