Technology Support Engineer

Project Role : Technology Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.
Must have skills : Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)

Summary:
As a Technology Support Engineer, your typical day will involve resolving incidents and problems that arise across various business system components, ensuring that operational stability is maintained. You will create and implement Requests for Change, while also updating knowledge base articles to facilitate effective troubleshooting. Collaboration with vendors and service management teams will be essential as you assist in issue analysis and resolution, contributing to a seamless operational environment.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Create and edit scripts for issues ranging from software installation to system configuration
- Create and maintain installation and configuration documentation
- Maintain SCCM database
- Patch clients
- Run queries and reports against SCCM database for software and hardware inventory, running them and kicking them out to a CSV files
- Plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and applications software
- Supports and administers the critical services provided by the Information Technology Management section
- Microsoft Systems Center Suite, particularly SCCM
- Manages system performance metrics that includes monitoring and reporting on processes, uptime, performance, utilization and capacity of SCCM server equipment
- Creation and management of SCCM Reports

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM).
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and their applications.
- Experience with incident management and problem resolution processes.
- Familiarity with service management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
