As a Trade Lifecycle Associate I within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your expertise in cash movements, funding, and coordination with other business lines will ensure seamless trade processing on our platforms. You will leverage your broad knowledge of trade lifecycle principles and practices to propose and implement improvements to our current working methods. Your role will involve diverse activities requiring analysis and judgement within defined boundaries, and you will often be responsible for guiding the work of others. Your proficiency in listening and questioning, internal stakeholder management, presentation skills, process improvement, and automation will be key to your success in this role. You will also have the opportunity to develop your data and tech literacy skills while working with us.

Job responsibilities

1. Knowledge of the technical infrastructure that supports the business & effectively utilizes infrastructure for daily tasks. Ensure all transactions are correctly matched for smooth settlement. Pre-matching and settlement of Fixed Income trades ( including Priority client focus ) 
2. Delivery management, cross depot stock movements - identify and instruct Payment processing SBL intraday activity, escalation and resolution of failing trades, 
3. Instruction of bond conversions - both physical and ADRs. Validation of interest claims, Auto-borrow reports, Daily High/Credit Risk reporting.
4. Resolution of Cash and Stock breaks working closely with Reconciliations team and verification of manual instructions
5. Continuously participate in projects involving new system implementation, process improvements, etc
6. Take ownership of work, problems, clarify issues / objections, and ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness
7. Working closely with the Business (Desk Heads, Global and Regional Business Managers) to understand their needs / priorities / issues
8. Work closely with technology partners to design the right solutions and implement requirements for future state, focusing on the priorities and efficiency saves.
9. Perform cost benefit analysis to propose optimum future process to the business
10. Requirements gathering for the build of the future state, clearly documenting workflows, E2E processes, controls along the lifecycle and new roles and responsibilities

• Ability to multitask, ensuring the trades are booked correctly, breaks are resolved and MIS being sent to managers on deadlines.
