Job Description
- Making the service area ready before every session (Lunch & Dinner) starts by complete the following up to the level of perfection: Bamboo Cleaning, Stone Chips Cleaning & Leveling, Jag Cleaning and water filling, Fan Cleaning (Weekly), Lamp cleaning, Table Cleaning, Vinegar Washing of Utensils (Weekly), Wiping of Plates, Spoons & Glass, Serving Bowls & Tandoor Platters, Cruet Set & Pickle Set cleaning and refilling, Napkins folding, Tables setting, Putting soft drinks in fridge, Incense Sanitization etc.
- Serving foods on guests table as per the KOT and as per the course ordered (like beverages and timepass to be served immediately ,followed by starter and then main course and then dessert).
- Taking running orders, placing the orders to the kitchen through plain KOT and serving them to the respective guests' tables promptly as soon as it is ready.
- Serving foods to guests’ plates if required by the guests.
- Serving finger bowl to guests at the end of their meal after verifying with the guests if they have finished their meal. Also, check if they want to have dessert or pan etc.
- Collecting the KOT from Pickup section and give that to cashier for billing.
- Give the feedback form and bill to the guests for payment as soon as they finish handwash after checking and verifying that the bill is prepared as per the food and beverages he has supplied/served to the table. Nothing has been missed or got added.
- In case of cash payment collecting the cash as per the bill, give that to cashier and returning balance cash to the guests.
- In case of card payment collecting money by swiping the card, taking cardholders signature on the charge slip, returning the card to the guest and submitting the duly signed charge slip to the cashier.
- Collecting the feedback for filled by the guests, write the required information like waiter name, table no. time etc. and give it to floor incharge/manager.
- Making the table ready after getting cleaned by the cleaner.
- Ensuring personal hygiene and Dhaba hygiene at all time.
- Strictly maintaining discipline inside Dhaba at all time.
