Role Overview
The Sales Executivewill be responsible for driving sales of heavy equipment by building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing expert product knowledge. This role requires proven experience in B2B sales, deep understanding of the heavy equipment market, and the ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target markets and customer segments.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Provide detailed product presentations, demonstrations, and technical consultations to clients.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, tenders, and contracts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies.
- Collaborate with after-sales, service, and finance teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and sales forecasting reports.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
- Mentor and support junior sales team members when required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years of proven sales experience in heavy equipment / construction machinery Industry.
- Strong knowledge of equipment brands, specifications, and applications.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently.
