Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and fast-paced Video Editor who understands modern short-form content and can create highly engaging videos for platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate should have strong editing sense, pacing, storytelling ability, and knowledge of current social media trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social platforms
- Add captions, transitions, sound effects, music sync, and motion graphics
- Maintain fast-paced editing style with strong retention
- Work closely with script writers and creators to enhance storytelling
- Organize raw footage and manage project timelines efficiently
- Stay updated with editing trends, meme culture, and platform algorithms
- Deliver edits within deadlines while maintaining quality
- Required SkillsProficiency in tools like Premiere Pro, Final cut, After Effects, or similar
- Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, and viral content structure
- Good sense of sound design, captions, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts trends
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- AI video tools knowledge (Runway, Kling, Pika, etc.)
- Motion graphics and animation basics
- Thumbnail design understanding
- Basic color grading knowledge
