Job Description – Filling Operator (Lubricant Manufacturing)

Position: Filling Operator

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Location: Bhiwadi (Khuskhera)

Experience: 1–3 years (preferred in lubricant / chemical / FMCG industry)

Role Overview

The Filling Operator will be responsible for operating filling machines to pack lubricants into bottles, jars, cans, and drums as per production guidelines. The role ensures accurate filling, sealing, labeling, and maintaining quality and safety standards on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automatic/semi-automatic filling machines for lubricants.
• Ensure correct filling quantity, sealing, capping, labeling, and batch coding.
• Perform basic machine setup, cleaning, and minor adjustments during shift.
• Follow production schedules and achieve daily/shift output targets.
• Maintain cleanliness of filling area and comply with 5S standards.
• Conduct visual quality checks on filled containers (leakage, weight, sealing quality).
• Load/unload empty and filled containers as required.
• Ensure proper handling of raw material and finished goods.
• Maintain production records, logs, and documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with maintenance team for machine breakdowns or abnormalities.
• Follow safety guidelines, PPE usage, and adhere to all plant rules.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic mechanical understanding of filling/packing machines.
• Knowledge of lubricants, oils, or liquid-based filling processes (preferred).
• Ability to identify defects and maintain quality.
• Physically fit to handle container lifting and workstation duties.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualification

• 10th / 12th Pass OR
• ITI (Fitter/Mechanical/Electrician) – preferred.

Work Environment

• Rotational shifts may be required.
• Shop floor environment with strict safety compliance.
