Interior Designer

Job SummaryWe are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to design, plan, and execute aesthetically appealing and functional interior spaces. The candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing designs, preparing drawings, coordinating with vendors and contractors, supervising project execution, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and as per quality standards.

• Key Result Areas (KRAs)1. Interior Design & Space PlanningDevelop innovative interior design concepts based on project requirements.
• Prepare space planning layouts to maximize functionality and aesthetics.
• Create mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations.
• 2. Design DevelopmentPrepare detailed 2D drawings, working drawings, elevations, and 3D visualizations.
• Ensure design accuracy before execution.
• Revise designs based on management or client feedback.
• 3. Project ExecutionCoordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Monitor interior work execution as per approved drawings.
• Ensure projects are completed within the defined timeline.
• 4. Site SupervisionConduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress.
• Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with design specifications.
• Resolve site-related design issues promptly.
• 5. Material & Vendor ManagementSelect materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor within the approved budget.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely material procurement.
• Evaluate vendor quality and delivery performance.
• 6. BOQ & Cost ControlPrepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and material specifications.
• Monitor project costs and control budget deviations.
• Recommend cost-effective design solutions.
• 7. Client & Internal CoordinationPresent design concepts to management and clients.
• Understand project requirements and incorporate feedback.
• Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• 8. Quality & ComplianceEnsure compliance with safety standards, building regulations, and company guidelines.
• Maintain high-quality finishing and workmanship standards.
• Minimize design-related rework.
• 9. Documentation & ReportingMaintain updated project drawings, BOQs, approvals, and reports.
• Submit weekly project progress reports.
• Maintain complete project documentation.
• 10. Continuous ImprovementStay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
• Suggest innovative and sustainable design solutions.
• Continuously improve project execution and design quality.
