Merchandising Manager

• Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of merchandisers and sampling coordinators.
• Allocate buyers and orders across the merchandising team.
• Monitor order progress from development to shipment.
• Coordinate with production, planning, sourcing, quality, and logistics teams.
• Conduct regular order review meetings and ensure timely execution.
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively resolve production and merchandising issues.
• Ensure BOMs, T&A calendars, approvals, and ERP updates are completed accurately.
• Maintain strong communication with customers regarding approvals, timelines, and deliveries.
• Drive process improvements and establish merchandising SOPs.
• Train and develop junior merchandisers.
• Candidate Profile8–15 years of experience in garment manufacturing merchandising.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a merchandising team.
• Strong understanding of woven/knit garment production processes.
• Experience handling multiple buyers and high-volume orders.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Comfortable working with ERP systems, Excel, and production planning tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Preferred ExperienceExperience working with garment exporters or large domestic manufacturers.
• Exposure to nylon, activewear, seamless, sportswear, or performance apparel is an advantage.
• Experience implementing systems and process improvements is preferred.
