Warehouse Executive

Key Responsibilities

Non-Performing Inventory (NPI)

Identify and segregate Non-Performing products (slow-moving, expired, near-expiry, damaged, or defective items).

Inspect items for condition issues and categorize them as per NPI guidelines.

Update inventory records with correct status (NPI, hold, damage, return, scrap).

Label and tag NPI products clearly for easy tracking.

Coordinate with concerned teams for return, disposal, or further action on NPI stock.

Picking & Packing

Use order sheets / digital picking lists to select items from racks or bins.

Check product codes, quantity, and condition before packing.

Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.

Apply correct packaging materials, labels, shipping details and barcode stickers.

Godown / Warehouse Operations

Organize, store and retrieve goods in an orderly and efficient manner.

Maintain storage area, racks, shelves neatly; ensure first in first out (FIFO) or as per company policy.

Support regular stock audits, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.

Oversee material movement, stacking / unstacking of pallets, loading/unloading.

Return Handling

Process returned products: inspect, sort, classify (resalable / repairable / scrap).

Update return logs in system with status, reasons for return.

Coordinate with relevant teams for restocking or disposal.

Dispatch / Outbound Activities

Prepare orders for dispatch: ensure all documentation (packing list, invoice, labels) is correct.

Coordinate with transport or courier partners for dispatch scheduling.

Load goods for delivery, ensuring safe handling.

Monitor dispatch status, track shipments until handover.

Barcoding & Labeling

Generate / print barcode labels for products, cartons, pallets.

Ensure barcode labels are correct, legible and properly affixed.

Scan items during various warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, dispatch) for traceability.

Night Shift Duties

Be available to work night shifts as per schedule or requirement.

Maintain productivity and safety during night hours.

Comply with shift handover procedures, ensure smooth continuity between shifts.
