Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory control, dispatch operations, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day functioning of the warehouse. The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and coordination with logistics and sales teams to achieve timely and accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory ManagementMaintain accurate stock records through audits and cycle counts.

• Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of goods.

2. Dispatch OperationsSupervise order picking, packing, and dispatch activities.

• Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for timely deliveries.
• Verify dispatch documents (invoices, delivery challans, e‑way bills).

3. Team SupervisionAssign tasks to warehouse staff and monitor performance.

• Train team members on SOPs, safety, and compliance.
• Foster a culture of accountability and efficiency.

4. Compliance & SafetyEnforce health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety checks and audits.

5. Reporting & CoordinationGenerate daily/weekly reports on inventory and dispatch status.

• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and shipping departments.
• Highlight discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
