Job Description
- 2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Financial Accounting & ReportingMaintain complete books of accounts (Tally/ERP-based)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, and journal entries
- Finalization of accounts and coordination with auditors
- B. Project Accounting (Core Requirement)Maintain project-wise cost tracking (Material, Labour, Machinery)
- Monitor Budget vs Actual Cost
- Control site expenses and cash flow
- Verify contractor/vendor bills as per BOQ & Work Orders
- C. Taxation & ComplianceEnsure compliance with:
- GST (Returns, ITC reconciliation, e-invoicing)
- TDS (Deduction, Return Filing, 26Q/24Q)
- Income Tax provisions
- Liaison with government departments & consultants
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws (PF, ESIC, etc.)
- D. Payables & Receivables ManagementManage vendor payments and ageing analysis
- Client billing (RA Bills, Final Bills)
- Follow-up for receivables and cash inflow
- E. Audit & Internal ControlsHandle statutory, internal, and tax audits
- Implement financial controls to prevent fraud/leakages
- Maintain documentation for all financial transactions
- F. Payroll & Site CoordinationProcess staff and labour payroll
- Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for cost inputs
- Monitor advances, imprest, and reimbursements
- 3. Key Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of construction accounting
- Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax
- Experience in Project Costing & BOQ validation
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, ERP systems
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to handle multiple sites/projects
- 4. QualificationB.Com / M.Com (Mandatory)
- CA Inter / CMA (Preferred)
- 5. Experience5–10 years in Accounts
- Minimum 3–5 years in Construction/Infrastructure Industry
- 6. Reporting StructureReports to: Finance Head / Director
- Coordinates with: Site Engineers, Project Managers, Purchase Team
- 7. KPIs (Performance Indicators)Accuracy of financial reports
- Timely GST/TDS compliance
- Cost control effectiveness
- Reduction in outstanding receivables
- Audit observations closure
