Job Title: Business Development & Operations Associate (Solar Energy Solutions)
Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive and resourceful individual to support business development, client handling, and operational coordination. This role is critical to building and scaling day-to-day operations and requires someone who can handle both fieldwork and backend coordination with equal efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Client Acquisition
- Identify and approach potential customers (residential/commercial)
- Explain offerings clearly and convert leads into confirmed orders
- Conduct site visits and initial requirement assessments
- Maintain lead pipeline and follow-ups
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers
- Handle queries, objections, and post-sale coordination
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and referrals
3. Government & Utility Coordination (MPEB / DISCOM)
- Liaise with electricity department officials for approvals, net metering, documentation
- Handle submission and follow-up of required applications
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and procedures
4. Operations & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with external installation teams/vendors
- Track project timelines and ensure smooth execution
- Assist in procurement coordination if required
5. Documentation & Computer Work
- Maintain records of customers, projects, and payments
- Prepare basic reports, proposals, and quotations Use tools like Excel, email, and basic CRM systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (Hindi + basic English)
- Good sales aptitude and persuasion ability
- Basic computer literacy (Excel, email, documentation)
- Ability to handle fieldwork and travel locally
- Problem-solving mindset and ownership attitude
- Experience in solar industry as field sales consultant.
- Preferred (Not Mandatory)Prior experience in sales / field operations
- Familiarity with electricity department processes (Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board / DISCOMs)

मुख्य जिम्मेदारियाँ (Key Responsibilities):
1. सेल्स और ग्राहक बनाना
- नए ग्राहकों से संपर्क करना (घर/दुकान/ऑफिस)
- सोलर सिस्टम के बारे में समझाना और ऑर्डर कन्फर्म कराना
- साइट विजिट करना और जरूरत समझना
- लीड्स का रिकॉर्ड रखना और फॉलो-अप करना
2. ग्राहक से संबंध (Customer Handling)
- ग्राहक के लिए मुख्य संपर्क व्यक्ति बनना
- उनके सवाल और समस्याओं का समाधान करना
- काम पूरा होने तक लगातार संपर्क में रहना
3. सरकारी विभाग से काम (MPEB / DISCOM)
- बिजली विभाग (Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board / DISCOM) के साथ काम करना
- नेट मीटरिंग और अन्य जरूरी कागजी कार्य करवाना
- आवेदन जमा करना और उसका फॉलो-अप करना
4. ऑपरेशन्स और वेंडर कोऑर्डिनेशन
- इंस्टॉलेशन टीम/वेंडर के साथ तालमेल रखना
- काम समय पर पूरा हो, यह सुनिश्चित करना
- जरूरत पड़ने पर सामान/मटेरियल के काम में मदद करना
5. कंप्यूटर और डॉक्यूमेंटेशन
- ग्राहकों, प्रोजेक्ट और पेमेंट का रिकॉर्ड रखना
- कोटेशन और बेसिक रिपोर्ट तैयार करना
- Excel, Email आदि का उपयोग करना
जरूरी योग्यता (Required Skills)
- अच्छी कम्युनिकेशन स्किल (हिंदी जरूरी, बेसिक अंग्रेजी चलेगी)
- सेल्स में रुचि और लोगों को समझाने की क्षमता
- बेसिक कंप्यूटर ज्ञान (Excel, Email)
- फील्ड में काम करने की तैयारी
- जिम्मेदारी लेने वाला और काम पूरा करने वाला स्वभाव
- प्राथमिकता (Preferred)सेल्स या फील्ड जॉब का अनुभव
- सोलर इंडस्ट्री का अनुभव
- बिजली विभाग के काम की जानकारी
