Job Description

A Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects. The role involves using CAD software to create accurate construction drawings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD or similar software
  • Convert rough sketches and design concepts into technical drawings
  • Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers/clients
  • Maintain drawing records and documentation
  • Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes and standards
  • Coordinate with site engineers and project teams
  • Assist in quantity take-offs and basic design support

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D)
  • Knowledge of construction drawings (RCC, structural, architectural)
  • Understanding of engineering standards and symbols
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
