Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of AC/DC Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers at residential and commercial locations. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical background, operates with a positive attitude, and is a quick learner.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Installation & Commissioning: Install wall-mounted and pole-mounted EV chargers according to company standards.

·        Electrical Wiring: Perform AC/DC wiring, terminate cables, and connect chargers to power sources safely.

·        Troubleshooting: Use a multimeter and other diagnostic tools to detect and fix circuit, grounding, or connectivity faults.

·        Customer Interaction: Explain charger operations to customers and provide basic training.

·        Reporting: Use a mobile application for updating daily installation reports, site photos, and completion checklists.

·        Safety Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols (LOTO - Lockout/Tagout) while working with high-voltage equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·        Education: ITI in Electrician / Wireman / Electronics or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

·        Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of single-phase/three-phase wiring, earthing/grounding standards, and breaker panels.

·        Tool Handling: Proficient in using a multimeter, clamp meter, meggers, and drill machines.

·        Mindset: Quick learner, positive attitude, and customer-focused approach.

·        Documentation: Basic understanding of reading electrical diagrams and technical manuals.

·        Two-Wheeler License: Mandatory for visiting customer locations.

·        Smartphone: Required for reporting and navigation.
