Job Description – Retail Store Pharmacist
Company: Optival Health Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (MedPlus Health Services Ltd.)
Position: Retail Store Pharmacist / Registered Pharmacist
Location: Across Madhya Pradesh, including Ratlam & Mandsaur
Experience: 0–5 Years
CTC: ₹2.5 LPA – ₹3.5 LPA
Qualification & Eligibility
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm qualification from a recognized institution.
- Must hold a valid registration with the Madhya Pradesh Pharmacy Council (MP PCI).
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic understanding of medicines, prescriptions, and pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately against valid prescriptions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and statutory requirements.
- Guide and counsel customers regarding proper medicine usage, dosage instructions, precautions, and possible side effects.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and required statutory documentation.
- Manage medicine inventory and ensure proper stock availability.
- Monitor near-expiry and expired medicines and take appropriate action as per company process.
- Ensure proper storage of medicines according to prescribed conditions.
- Support billing and day-to-day retail pharmacy operations.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and address customer queries professionally.
- Ensure store hygiene, cleanliness, and proper display of products.
- Follow company SOPs, operational processes, and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with the Store Manager and team for smooth store operations.
