Retail Store Manager

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Retail Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales performance, manage inventory, and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining store standards, ensuring operational efficiency, and creating a positive shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities :

Store Operations Management

Manage day-to-day store operations efficiently.

Ensure smooth opening and closing of the store.

Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and visual merchandising standards.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Sales & Revenue Generation

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Develop strategies to maximize sales and profitability.

Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when required.

Promote upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Team Leadership

Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.

Prepare employee schedules and manage attendance.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.

Motivate team members to achieve business objectives.

Customer Service

Ensure excellent customer service at all times.

Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally.

Build strong customer relationships to increase loyalty and repeat business.

Inventory Management

Monitor stock levels and ensure product availability.

Conduct regular inventory audits and stock counts.

Minimize stock loss, damage, and shrinkage.

Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse te

ams for stock replenishment.

Financial Management

Manage store budgets and operating expenses.

Monitor cash handling and banking procedures.

Prepare sales, inventory, and performance reports.

Analyze store KPIs and profitability metrics.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.

3–8 years of experience in retail operations.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

Experience in apparel, FMCG, electronics, lifestyle, supermarket, or retail chain operations preferred.
