Account Executive (Accounting)

An Account Executive / Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, maintaining accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting operations, monitoring financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting budgeting and financial planning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.

Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.

Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts on a regular basis.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting principles, and company policies.

Support audits by providing necessary financial information and documentation.

Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial control.

Prior experience in accounting, finance, or account management roles is added advantage.

Knowledge of ERP systems, financial management software and accounting software.
