Chinese Chef

Role Overview

We’re looking for a skilled Pan Asian Cook(Chinese cook) who lives and breathes wok, sushi, and spice. You’ll prep, cook, and plate dishes that stay true to authentic techniques while fitting our fast-paced, high-quality kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a range of Pan Asian dishes: stir-fries, curries, sushi, ramen, dim sum, rice & noodle dishes
• Handle wok cooking, grilling, steaming, and cold prep with precision
• Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation across all dishes
• Maintain mise en place and manage kitchen stations during service
• Follow recipes, SOPs, and hygiene standards without compromiseManage inventory, prep lists, and reduce wastage
• Collaborate with chefs and service team for smooth kitchen operationsUphold food safety, cleanliness, and HACCP guidelines daily

RequirementsExperience:

• 5+ years as a Pan Asian/Chinese/Oriental cuisine cook in hotels or high-volume restaurants
• Strong knife skills and wok skills required
• Knowledge of key Pan Asian ingredients, sauces, and cooking techniques
• Ability to work under pressure during peak service hours
• Team player with good communication and a positive attitude
• Culinary degree/diploma preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong
