Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, company assets, and the premises of Labonya Retreat. The role includes monitoring entry and exits points, patrolling the property, managing parking, assisting during events, and responding promptly to emergencies while maintaining a professional and courteous approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure all entry and exit points of the retreat.
• Verify visitors, vendors, and contractors before allowing entry.
• Conduct regular patrols of the banquet hall, café, swimming pool, lounge area, parking area, gardens, and other premises.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and company property at all times.
• Maintain visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry/exit records.
• Manage parking operations and assist guests with vehicle movement when required.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and report any suspicious activities or security concerns.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, accidents, fire alarms, or security incidents.
• Coordinate with local authorities, police, or emergency services whenever necessary.
• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and damage to company property.
• Assist in crowd management and security arrangements during banquets, weddings, corporate events, and other functions.
• Ensure all gates, doors, and restricted areas remain secured.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security risks to the reporting manager.
• Follow company security policies, emergency procedures, and safety protocols.
• Perform any additional security-related duties assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: 10th Pass or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Security Guard in a hotel, resort, banquet, commercial establishment, or similar organization is preferred.
• Ex-servicemen or candidates with professional security training will be given preference.

Required Skills

• Good observation and surveillance skills.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and alertness.
• Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of fire safety and first aid is an added advantage.

Working Conditions

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, public holidays, and during special events.
• Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and remain alert for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
