Job Description
Sri Jagannath Darshan Yatra is hiring an Accountant to manage all financial operations.
Key responsibilities:
• Maintain day-to-day accounts, ledgers, and bookkeeping entries
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and billing
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage GST filing, TDS deductions, and other statutory compliance
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
• Handle payroll processing and staff salary disbursement
• Track budgets for yatra programs and trust activities
• Ensure all financial records comply with trust and legal requirements
Requirements:
• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and income tax regulations
• Honest, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential financial data
• Good written and spoken communication in Odia/Hindi; basic English preferred
