Accounts & Audit Assistant

Job Description :

The Tax and Accounts Executive handles end-to-end accounting, manages daily bookkeeping, and ensures statutory tax compliances for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role bridges the gap between raw financial data and tax readiness, requiring a mix of strong accounting principles, hands-on experience with tax portals, and the organization needed to manage strict regulatory deadlines within a Chartered Accountant firm.

Key Responsibilities :

 Financial Data Management: Own the end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting processes for assigned clients to ensure financial records are accurate and complete.

 Tax Compliance Execution: Handle the timely preparation, computation, and filing of direct and indirect statutory tax returns.

 Reconciliation & Scrutiny: Perform regular quality checks on financial data, reconciling internal books with external tax portals and bank statements.

 Audit & Assessment Readiness: Gather, organize, and format financial documentation to support senior team members during client audits and tax assessments.
