​Gypcorp is a growing proprietorship firm with a diverse portfolio spanning specialized construction (drywall and false ceiling systems) . We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Chartered Accountant to manage our financial health and ensure compliances.

​Role Overview

​As our in-house CA, you will be the backbone of Gypcorp’s financial operations. You will manage end-to-end accounting, tax compliance, and financial planning for our ongoing construction projects.

​Key Responsibilities

​1. Financial Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate books of accounts for multiple business units.
• ​Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• ​Manage project-wise accounting, specifically for construction contracts (Material-plus-Labor and Labor-only models).
• ​Oversee expense tracking and digital attendance systems for a large field-based workforce.

​2. Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
• ​Manage statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• ​Handle tax planning and provide advice on the financial implications of business expansions.
• ​Assist in documentation for trademark filings and other legal affidavits.

​3. Budgeting & Project Analysis

• Develop budgets for new ventures, including farm infrastructure and school setup costs.
• ​Conduct break-even analysis and monitor ROI for various business units.
• ​Manage payroll for a diverse team ranging from laborers to teaching staff.

​4. Operations Support

• ​Optimize internal controls to prevent leakage in supply chain and site operations.
• ​Manage vendor payments and reconcile outstanding balances for major construction projects.

​Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (Member of ICAI).
• ​Experience: 2–5 years of post-qualification experience (experience in construction, agriculture, or diverse SME sectors is a plus).
• ​Software: Proficiency in Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, and modern cloud-based accounting/expense tracking tools.
• ​Language: Fluency in English and Odia is preferred for local coordination.
• ​Mindset: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle the complexity of different business models simultaneously.
