Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestones.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Allocate resources, estimate costs, and approve vendor payments to prevent cost overruns.
- Site Execution: Supervise daily on-site construction operations, ensuring the project aligns with blueprints and engineering standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and government authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Implement Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures and strictly enforce site safety rules.
- Team Leadership: Mentor site supervisors and construction managers, allocating tasks and managing subcontractor contracts.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; a Master’s degree is often preferred.
- Experience: Typically 10+ years in civil construction, with a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
