About the Role
We're looking for an organised and people-oriented HR Intern to support our recruitment and people-operations functions. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who wants real exposure to end-to-end hiring and HR administration in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You'll work closely with restaurant management to keep our hiring pipeline full and our people data clean and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and scout candidates (kitchen staff, service staff, support roles, etc.) in line with the restaurant's hiring requirements.
- Create and post job advertisements across relevant platforms (job portals, social media, local networks) and manage incoming applications.
- Screen applications, conduct initial calls, and schedule interviews with shortlisted candidates.
- Maintain and update the staff database in Excel — personal details, roles, joining dates, shift information, and documentation.
- Maintain and organise customer data in Excel, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, including paperwork and basic orientation.
- Support day-to-day HR administration and reporting as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks.
- Prior exposure to recruitment or the F&B/hospitality industry is a plus (not required).
