Jr. Logisctics Executive (Bhubaneswar)

Role Overview: The Logistics Executive will be responsible for ensuring smooth last-mile operations at the hub. This includes timely deliveries, effective rider management, accurate daily cash reconciliation, and performance tracking. The role requires strong operational discipline, people management skills, and comfort with data reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Last-Mile Operations

• Manage end-to-end last-mile delivery operations for the hub.
• Ensure timely dispatch and efficient route planning.
• Oversee smooth execution of daily delivery schedules.

2. Team Management

• Lead and manage the delivery rider team.
• Monitor rider performance and productivity.
• Resolve on-ground operational issues.
• Provide regular guidance, feedback, and maintain discipline within the team.

3. Cash Handling & Reconciliation

• Oversee daily cash collection from riders.
• Ensure accurate daily cash reconciliation.
• Maintain proper records as per company guidelines and processes.

4. Performance

• Monitoring & ReportingTrack and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly delivery performance metrics.
• Monitor RTO rates and other key operational KPIs.
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in logistics or a senior operations role, specifically in last-mile delivery.
• Proven experience in managing delivery riders and handling cash reconciliation processes.
• Strong understanding of local city routes and nearby areas.
• Hands-on experience with daily/weekly/monthly performance reporting in logistics.
• Good proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
