Job Description
Positions Consolidated: Head Maintenance + maintenance coordination across zones
Total Manpower: 1 person (+ coordination with mechanical shift incharges)
About the Role:
Lead the maintenance function across all equipment and systems in our foundry facility. Develop maintenance strategies, manage technician teams, plan capital expenditures, and ensure maximum equipment uptime and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage maintenance policies, schedules, and budgets
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
- Manage maintenance technician teams across all zones
- Coordinate with Operations and Mechanical teams
- Manage equipment lifecycle and replacement decisions
- Maintain maintenance records and CMMS database
- Conduct failure analysis and implement improvements
- Manage vendor relationships for spare parts and service
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards
Required Qualifications:
Education: BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 8-10 years in industrial maintenance, foundry/steel preferred
Skills: Maintenance planning, team management, technical troubleshooting, budgeting
Knowledge: CMMS, equipment failure analysis, preventive maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent
- Exposure to Tata Metalliks, Jindal Saw, Electrosteel Castings, Welspun
- Six Sigma/Lean certification
- SAP/CMMS expertise
- Capital equipment management experience
Location: As per requirement
Salary: Senior Management (Negotiable)
