Job Description
- Mobile Repair Technician – Job ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in Android and iPhone devices.
- Repair and replace displays, batteries, charging ports, speakers, microphones, cameras, back glass, and other mobile components.
- Perform motherboard-level troubleshooting and micro soldering (if skilled).
- Install and update mobile software, flash firmware, remove locks, and resolve software-related issues.
- Test every repaired device thoroughly before handing it over to the customer.
- Maintain repair records, job cards, and update repair status regularly.
- Handle customer devices with complete care and maintain data privacy.
- Keep the workbench, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Use genuine or company-approved spare parts only.
- Inform the Store Manager immediately if any additional issue is found during repair.
- Complete assigned repairs within the committed turnaround time.
- Follow all company SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the sales team and front desk for timely customer updates.
- Maintain proper stock usage records for spare parts and tools.
- Avoid any unauthorized repair or replacement without management approval.
- Maintain professional behavior with customers and colleagues at all times.
- Continuously learn new repair techniques and attend company training sessions.
- Ensure zero negligence, minimize repeat repairs, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Daily ChecklistDiagnose all assigned devices.
- Update repair status in the system/register.
- Perform complete quality testing before delivery.
- Clean repaired devices before handing them over.
- Return replaced parts as per company policy.
- Submit end-of-day work report to the Store Manager.
- Performance ExpectationsHigh repair success rate.
- Minimum repeat repair cases.
- Timely delivery of repaired devices.
- Positive customer feedback.
- Proper documentation and workplace discipline.
- Compliance with company rules and SOPs.
