Job Summary:

The Sales Executive cum Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, welcoming showroom visitors, handling customer inquiries, generating sales leads, and assisting customers in understanding the company's interior design products and services. The role requires excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to convert walk-in inquiries into business.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception & Customer Handling

• Welcome and assist all walk-in customers and visitors to the showroom.
• Attend incoming calls, emails, WhatsApp inquiries, and social media leads.
• Maintain visitor records and customer inquiry registers.
• Schedule appointments for client meetings, site visits, and design consultations.
• Ensure the reception and showroom areas are clean, organized, and presentable.

Sales & Business Development

• Understand customer requirements and explain the company's interior design services and product offerings.
• Generate and qualify sales leads from walk-in customers and other inquiry sources.
• Follow up regularly with prospective customers to convert inquiries into orders.
• Coordinate with designers and sales teams for client meetings and project discussions.
• Assist in preparing quotations, presentations, and proposals.
• Maintain customer databases and update CRM records.
• Achieve monthly inquiry conversion and sales targets.

Showroom Operations

• Ensure proper display and presentation of products, materials, samples, and catalogs.
• Maintain updated product information and pricing details.
• Support promotional events, exhibitions, and showroom marketing activities.
• Collect customer feedback and share insights with management.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inquiry reports.
• Maintain records of customer visits, leads, and follow-ups.
• Handle correspondence, courier management, and basic office administration.
• Support management with documentation and coordination activities.

Educational Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Diploma or certification in Sales, Marketing, Customer Relations, or Business Administration will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Reception, Customer Service, or Front Office Operations.
• Experience in Interior Design, Modular Furniture, Home Décor, Construction Materials, Real Estate, or Showroom Sales will be preferred.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and sales aptitude.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
• Ability to handle multiple customers and inquiries simultaneously.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and Odia.
