Sales Officer

Job Profile – Sales Officer & High Value Officer (Paytm)About the RoleWe are looking for energetic, target-driven, and customer-focused professionals to join the Paytm EDC Sales Team. The role involves acquiring new merchants, promoting Paytm's payment edc Machine, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving monthly business targets.

1. Sales OfficerExperience: 0–2 Years (Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply)

Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹25,000 per month + Incentives

• Key ResponsibilitiesAcquire new merchants and onboard them to Paytm's payment ecosystem.
• Promote and sell QR Soundbox, EDC/POS machines, and other Paytm products.
• Generate leads through field visits and local market activities.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with merchants.
• Ensure successful installation and activation of devices.
• Educate merchants about Paytm products, features, and benefits.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Resolve basic merchant queries and coordinate with support teams when required.
• Submit daily sales reports and update CRM applications.
• Candidate RequirementsGraduate or undergraduate.
• Good communication and convincing skills.
• Willingness to work in field sales.
• Self-motivated and target-oriented.
• Smartphone with basic Android knowledge.

2. High Value Officer (HVO)Experience: Minimum 3 Years in Banking, FinTech, Payment Industry, or Financial Services

Preferred Experience: Paytm, PhonePe, BharatPe, Pine Labs, Banks, NBFCs, Payment Solutions

Salary: ₹32,000 – ₹40,000 per month + Attractive Incentives

• Key ResponsibilitiesAcquire and manage high-value merchants.
• Drive deployment of premium payment solutions including POS/EDC devices.
• Build strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Cross-sell financial products and value-added services.
• Ensure high merchant satisfaction and retention.
• Identify business opportunities and increase transaction volume.
• Monitor market competition and execute sales strategies.
• Deliver consistent achievement of revenue and business targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth merchant onboarding and service delivery.
• Candidate RequirementsMinimum 3 years of relevant sales experience.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience in banking or payment industry preferred.
• Ability to manage business independently.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
