Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Tailors/Sewing Machine Operators to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in garment construction, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sewing machines to join, reinforce, and decorate garments and other articles.
- Follow patterns and templates to ensure precision in cutting and sewing.
- Perform alterations and repairs on garments as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet company standards.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tailor or Sewing Machine Operator.
- Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines.
- Strong knowledge of different fabrics and garment construction techniques.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret patterns and technical specifications.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
