Job Description
Job Summary:The Waiter / Steward is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a courteous attitude.
- Key Responsibilities:Greet guests courteously and present menus.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly, following service standards.
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout the service.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues professionally.
- Clear used dishes and glassware, and reset tables for the next guests.
- Assist with the preparation and setup of the dining area before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area and service stations.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures as per company and legal standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate orders.
