Job Description
- . Food Preparation & CookingPrepare and cook food as per standard recipes and instructions
- Ensure taste, quality, and presentation are consistent
- Maintain speed and efficiency during peak hours
- 2. Kitchen Operations SupportAssist Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure timely preparation of all dishes
- Keep workstation organized and ready at all times
- 3. Quality ControlMaintain high standards of food quality and hygiene
- Ensure proper portion control and plating
- Avoid overcooking, wastage, or poor presentation
- 4. Hygiene & CleanlinessFollow strict cleanliness and sanitation practices
- Keep kitchen area, utensils, and equipment clean
- Maintain personal hygiene (uniform, gloves, grooming)
- 5. Inventory HandlingUse raw materials carefully to minimize wastage
- Inform Head Chef about low stock or shortages
- Follow FIFO (First In First Out) method
- 6. Staff CoordinationWork in coordination with:
- Other chefs
- Helpers
- Service staff
- Maintain discipline and teamwork in kitchen
- 7. Equipment HandlingProper use of kitchen equipment (tandoor, burners, ovens, etc.)
- Report any malfunction immediately
- Follow safety guidelines while cooking
- 8. Speed & Service EfficiencyEnsure quick service, especially for highway travelers
- Handle bulk orders efficiently during rush hours
- Maintain readiness for continuous customer flow
