MEP ENGINEER

Position: Site MEP Engineer

Experience: 3–8 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Location: Project Site (Travel/Relocation as per project requirements)

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and execute all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, HVAC, and ELV works at the project site.

Ensure MEP works are carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedule.

Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams for seamless execution and clash-free installation.

Review drawings, identify discrepancies, and raise technical queries where required.

Prepare material requisitions, monitor material consumption, and coordinate with procurement for timely availability of materials.

Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is executed safely and efficiently.

Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with quality procedures, NBC, IS Codes, and client requirements.

Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, measurement sheets, and work completion records.

Coordinate testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems.

Attend site coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, and ELV systems.

Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and shop drawings.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an added advantage.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage site activities under tight project schedules.
