Engineer- Homologation Certification

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Good knowledge, understanding of Automobile Rules and Regulation, both domestic as well as export countries
2. Good experience of reading, understanding, Interpretation of homologation rules, it's implication on various systems
3. Knowledge of vehicle as complete as well as various systems of the vehicle 
4. Knowledge on certification related testing, test equipment’s, rigs. Ability to carry out vehicle level tests, good rapport with external homologation officials & test agencies.
5. Preparation of detail 'homologation requirement matrix / target documents ' specific to the platform, project, as per vehicle specifications, features, timelines, country scope & ensuring compliance 
6. Co- ordinate, track Internal pre-CMVR homologation tests including component level certification

Automotive OEM or Homologation Test agency

B. E. (Mech/ Auto)

 

General Requirements

1.Sound knowledge, understanding of Automobile Rules and Regulation, both domestic as well as export countries for M1 and N1 Category Vehicles
2. Complete Vehicle system knowledge including emission/ safety
3. Good experience of reading, understanding, Interpretation of homologation rules, it's implication on various vehicle systems
4. External networking with Test agencies / Regulatory bodies
