Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, handling daily accounting activities, and ensuring accurate financial transactions. The role includes maintaining accounts, monitoring expenses, and supporting the organization’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain daily financial transactions and records

Prepare vouchers, invoices, and bills

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts

2. Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports

Maintain accurate accounting documents and records

Assist in budget preparation and financial planning

3. Taxation & Compliance

Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances

Prepare and file tax-related documents

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

4. Payroll & Expense Management

Process employee salaries and reimbursements

Monitor company expenses and maintain expense records

Verify bills and payments before processing

5. Audit Support

Assist during internal and external audits

Provide required financial data and documents

Ensure proper documentation for all transactions

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role

Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, Busy, or ERP systems

Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation
