Finance & MIS Manager

Role Overview

Own dealership systems (DMS), reporting, and day-to-day finance operations. This role ensures accurate data entry, disciplined tracking of transactions, and preparation of financial and tax data, while coordinating with the CA for final compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations & Controls

• Validate all deals before invoicing (pricing, schemes, discounts)
• Track customer payments, advances, receivables, and closures
• Coordinate with banks/finance partners for loan case tracking
• Monitor deal-level profitability and flag discrepancies
• Maintain deal lifecycle tracking (booking → retail → closure)

Accounting

• Pass day-to-day accounting entries (sales, receipts, expenses)
• Maintain books of accounts in accounting software (e.g., Tally)
• Perform basic reconciliations (cash, bank, customer balances)
• Keep accounts updated and ready for review

Tax Data Preparation & Coordination

• Maintain accurate GST data (sales, purchases, input/output)
• Prepare and share required data for GST return filing
• Track TDS deductions and maintain records
• Coordinate with CA for filings and compliance

DMS & MIS

• Capture and maintain all bookings, enquiries, and retail transactions in DMS
• Ensure real-time data accuracy across departments
• Generate daily MIS reports for management
• Track inventory and ensure system vs physical alignment

Administrative Systems & Data Control

• Maintain structured digital records, reports, and data archives
• Standardize internal trackers and reporting formats
• Ensure smooth data flow across departments
• Oversee basic IT systems (DMS, printers, internet coordination)
• Maintain attendance and employee data in systems

Requirements

1. 3+ years experience in MIS / accounts / finance operations
2. Strong Excel skills
3. Working knowledge of Tally
4. Basic understanding of GST and TDS
5. Comfortable with DMS/CRM/ERP systems
6. Detail-oriented with strong discipline
