About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive to drive sales of cameras and related accessories/parts (lenses, tripods, memory cards, batteries, camera bags, etc.) in the Chandigarh region. The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in retail/B2B sales within the electronics or photography equipment industry.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

•    Sales Generation: Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for cameras and related accessories through proactive customer engagement.

•    Product Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of camera models, specifications, and accessories to guide customers in making informed purchase decisions.

•    Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with individual customers, retailers, studios, and corporate clients.

•    Lead Generation & Follow-up: Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and follow up on inquiries to convert them into sales.

•    Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with the inventory/warehouse team to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment.

•    After-Sales Support: Assist customers with warranty registration, service queries, and handle basic after-sales support/escalations.

•    Market Intelligence: Track competitor products, pricing, and market trends to provide inputs for sales strategy.

•    Reporting: Maintain daily/weekly sales reports, customer database, and update the sales pipeline in CRM (if applicable).

•    Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with distributors/brand representatives for stock, pricing, and promotional schemes.

Key Skills Required

•    Strong product knowledge of cameras (DSLR, mirrorless, point-and-shoot) and accessories

•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•    Negotiation and persuasive selling skills

•    Target-driven with a customer-first approach

•    Basic computer skills (MS Excel, billing software, CRM)

•    Local market knowledge of Chandigarh/Tricity region

Eligibility Criteria

•    Qualification: Computer Science / IT background preferred; graduates from other streams with relevant sales experience may also apply

•    Experience: Minimum 3+ years in sales, preferably in camera/IT hardware/computer peripherals or electronics industry

•    Language: Hindi, English, Punjabi (preferred)
