Store Keeper

Job Title: Store KeeperExperience Required: 1–2 Years

Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Location: Chandigarh

Job Overview:We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Store Keeper for the construction industry who can efficiently manage construction materials, tools, equipment, and inventory records at the site/store. The candidate should have experience handling stock management and maintaining proper documentation of incoming and outgoing materials.

• Key Responsibilities:Maintain daily records of construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming site materials and stock
• Issue materials to site staff and maintain proper entry records
• Monitor stock availability and inform management about shortages
• Maintain proper storage and arrangement of cement, steel, hardware, electrical items, pipes, and other construction materials
• Conduct regular stock verification and inventory audits
• Prepare stock reports and maintain inward/outward registers
• Coordinate with purchase and site teams for material requirements
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper handling of materials in the store area
• Prevent material loss, damage, or misuse
• Requirements:1–2 years of experience as a Store Keeper in the construction industry
• Knowledge of construction materials and site inventory handling
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, inventory software)
• Good record-keeping and organizational skills
• Ability to work at construction sites and handle material management efficiently
• Honest, hardworking, and responsible attitude
• Preferred Skills:Experience in maintaining site stock registers and reports
• Knowledge of inventory management and material tracking
• Good coordination and communication skills
