Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities

Inbound Logistics

• Receiving: Unloading delivery trucks, containers, or shipping vehicles.
• Inspection: Verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders to check for missing items or structural defects.
• Put-Away: Organizing and storing accepted stock systematically into designated shelves or pallet racks.

Outbound Logistics

• Picking via helpers: Retrieving products from designated storage zones according to digital or physical pick-lists.
• Packing via helpers: Assembling, packaging, weighing, and securely sealing orders to prevent transport damage.
• Shipping via drivers: Labeling parcels correctly and loading outgoing freight onto transport carriers.

Facility & Inventory Maintenance

• Inventory Control: Conducting regular cycle counts and scanning stock barcodes to update inventory tracking software.
• Housekeeping: Clearing workspace debris like wooden crates and cardboard to maintain a hazard-free floor.

Core Requirements & Skills

Physical Capabilities

• Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and crouch for extended 8-to-12 hour shifts.

Professional Competencies

• Attention to Detail: Ensuring exact matches on SKU codes, order quantities, and tracking sheets.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using handheld barcode scanners and navigating automated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Safety Awareness: Strictly following occupational health guidelines, equipment safety practices, and emergency protocols.
