Account Manager

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for all accounting and financial matters
• Manage and oversee general accounting operations
• Develop accounting strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Finalize ledger accounts and prepare financial statements
• Monitor and improve internal accounting processes
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
• Manage cash flow and ensure availability of funds
• Handle taxation, compliance, and filing of returns

• Analyze accounting data and generate financial reports
• Implement and enforce accounting policies and procedures
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Track key financial/account metrics and performance
• Prepare and present periodic financial reports
• Support audits and ensure readiness of required documentation

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
• Experience: 7–12 years (preferred 10–14 years in Accounts)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP
• Knowledge of government contracts and compliance
• Experience in audit preparation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
